Description

Hi there. This white Python molurus I captured in our day nursery on a party. The children loved to be captured with this non poisonous snake. They where astonished that the skin was not cold and slippery. Tomorrow I will show you a special shot with a fearless girl kissing the snake ... stay tuned.

He's kinda cute! I remember as a kid, holding a small boa constrictor brought to our class by a zoo keeper. He was quite heavy, completely dry and smooth. I guess the specularity of their skin fools people into thinking they are slippery or wet. Very nice capture... or should i say snake portrait! ;)

Your photography of this snake is excellent and actually he does look really great. I am not a great lover of snakes but do find them fascinating nevertheless, I look forward to your next shot. hugs Jane xx

Excellent capture! I'm not keen on snakes but he's quite nice to look at. Good idea to take them into schools some children may never see 'wild' animals otherwise. As 'idehaven' said above, I also have held a boa constrictor and they are deceptive.
