Description


This Red-tailed Hawk was hovering about 20-ft. above the ground while facing into the wind near the Point Loma Lighthouse. While doing so his wing configuration changed constantly to hold position. He kept looking at something on the ground, possibly prey, put he never went down. This picture was taken 17 April 2009. Thank you for viewing, commenting, and favs, Sig...
