Description

This is another commission piece from another site. The character is Bluejaye, created by Gabriel Dill. This one looks rather simple but it was a bear to do. The texture map I created looked terrible over the muscle structure, it was pulled in all kinds of wierd ways. So I used multiple layers of black, blue, and white renders, and masked off the lines in PS to get the cleaner look. A real pain to do but I like the way it came out. For some reason Poser crashed everytime I tried to render the body and the wings together. I had to do them seperate and combine them in PS. Seems like this image gave me more trouble than most others. Oh well at least its done. :) Thnx for checking it out.

The end result looks really crisp and clean, all your work paid off! And I like rendering wings separately, because sometimes you need to resize them or bend them, and it's a piece of cake as long as they are on their own layer;)

Looks Fantastic.... I have a couple props that I got off the free pages and when I render it with a few items, it's ok, but it crashes when I put other items in there... I'm thinking whoever made some free stuff have tweeked a code that causes poser to burp - lol.

Super cool Raddar! It may have been difficult but your efforts really paid off. It looks excellent! What version of Poser do you use? I bought version 8 recently because DAZ platinum members were offered a deal. 8 has it's issues but it renders WAY faster than 7 and I discovered that it runs a lot smoother if you shut of the library and use Dimension 3D's XL from Content Paradise. Anyway, GREAT job on this.

Boy, do I hate it when Poser is uncooperative! I feel for ya. Sometimes what should be 'simple' just doesn't want to work. Well, you did a fine job of pulling it together and I just love his wings and the clean comic book lines. Nicely done superhero.
