Description

I just found out that my workplace will be no more in a few months and that despite 2 very large companies being involved the team of around 300 skilled people are to be left without a paddle. This is my new desktop wallpaper at work. If your wondering, BRS10 is the name of my Fujitsu services office, the IT helpdesk for LTSB bank. LTSB have just brought another big bank with its own IT helpdesk so it's goodbye BRS10. Time to do something different, move on, move forward.

Sorry to hear about this, but one door closes and another opens. Perhaps a better opportunity awaits you! I wasn't aware that you were in I.T. - I am also as my main job! A nice render, really capturing the look of a lit neon sign!

Sorry to hear about the work situation - same has happened to many, many friends of mine. Economy sux worldwide! I'm in IT as well and the past year or two has not been easy (gives me more time to do art though!) Best of luck, you have the talent and opportunities await. The neon does look great .. !!!!!

Great work. Sorry about your situation... I've had two jobs go to India from under me, but so far I've dodged the pink slip. Good luck: remember crisis = opportunity! Keep your head and you'll come out strong, I'm sure.

Your situation sucks and you have my every sympathy - wonderful image though! Perhaps you will end up with a job in graphics, that's gotta be better than IT support?!

I wish you all the best - I really do hope that it turns out to be a great thing instead of a scary thing. The glow affect on the sign is pretty darn cool. Always enjoy seeing what you've been tinkering with lately.

I´m sorry to hear that Tom, working at an IT help desk for a hardware manufacturer I know a lot about outsourcing and it´s absurd consequences for workers and customers. I had a customer who owned stocks of the company at the same time, she was happy about her stocks making money, but she did complain about service durations for her Laptop. She probably didn´t see any connection. However, as long as we as consumers don´t understand that we´ve a responsibility what and where we buy and which business conditions we support, not much will change. I try to be a good example as much as my wallet allows me. I wish you all the best and hope that you´ll find a better job!
