Description
When a spout from a droplet of water reaches it's maximum height it launches a droplet into the air. THIS is what happens if you hit that drop with another drop coming down.
Drop of yellow dyed milk dropping into black dyed water.
Vivitar 283 behind the splash firing into frosted perspex one with blue gel. Speedlite 430EX II front left firing across spout with white paper reflector the other side to illuminate the milk.
Both set on minimum power to give an effective shutter speed of around 1/10,000th second. Triggered during 2 sec exposure with push button connected to two 'modified' pc-sync hot shoe adaptors.

Another great shot. Thanks for explaining how you do it. Now the long exposure makes sense.

This is a super cool capture Chris. Surprises that you are using milk. I was thinking some special liquid. Very well caught. Dana
