Description
The base of a species of bamboo found in the arid zone biome at the Eden Project, Cornwall, part of a series of Cornish pictures i will be putting up over the next few days, comments are always very welcome and much appreciated.

Great macro pic! I am astonished about the wonders Mother Nature created over millions of years. I am sure every part of this structure has a special function and gives the bamboo its typical properties. Looking forward to your upcoming pics.
