No wonder why I fell so warm tonight. It is almost 10C = 50F outside and calm weather and only little wind. :)

I see "leaves of 3" - does that mean that little plant in the center is poison ivy or poison oak? I wouldn't touch it in any case since I always steer clear of 3-leafed plants. This is an amazing composition with so many different plants and earth colors in it. Stellar shot.

When I was a child, Mushrooms always reminded me of strange, immobile animals. I remember feeling a vague sense of disappointment that they were something as common as fungi! I get that feeling now, because this image isn't so much of mushrooms, but what I think mushrooms should be! These are gorgeous and so succulent, very much alive, and intriguing. This is beautiful, and in a way it goes beyond beauty into something strangely poetic...it instills a mood! I love the fact that one simple image does that. The composition and everything is perfect, especially the rich and lively color! This is a favorite!
