Description

These are our neighbors. There are a little creepy and quiet, at least quiet most of the year. Come the week of Halloween these guys really know how to party. We live in the historic district of Oshkosh. There are so many buildings to creep out around here. This is going to be cool. Long ago this house was part of the property owned by the couch house, which is what we live in. This was the servants quarters. So I haven't had much time. I have been so busy. I have a lot of commenting to do. So tomorrow I will be commenting and checking out the gallery. Have a most hauntly wonderful night. Thank you for all the comments and favs on my previous posts. Love and peace, Cheri

Stellarly scary dark effects in this Halloweenish concept, Cheri! At least when you hear wailing and bumps in the night, you don't have to wonder where they come from.

We needed to make a run tonight, pretty much stayed in the typical neighbor hood boundaries only moving about within a seven block radius. All during the time we were in the car, Cheri is looking around checking out all of the houses she thinks might be cool to go back and grab a shot of,....just so that she can creep it out! It's great to see her having fun, but I think the Halloween season might possibly be extended this year for her. This is a cool shot, although I have to admit that the guy on the right looks a lot more normal during the day,...well except for maybe the hunchback thing,...and his constant mega drooling,...and possibly the eyes, but other than that, he's pretty cool! He's the only one that seems to be out and about during daylight hours. I guess the rest are just shy. I think that the cat might have strayed into our yard one too many times this summer, and that those pod things got to it, it's a pretty good cat, but that screech is just ear shattering, I wish it would just yowl like any normal outside cat. Cheri's son Ryan cuts the grass for them in the summer, for some reason they just put the money on the steps outside the door,...hmmmmm.

Couch house... reminds me of my family home (and my family still lives there). They live in a historic section of inner Cleveland and we'd been in the house for 100 years. We bought it from a family named Fisch. My grandparents' name was Frey. The house is known as the Fisch Frey (Fish Fry) house. :-) Spooky shot here.

I love your neighbors...the guy with the Greek nose is kinda cute! You know, this photo really rocks on so many different levels. I have the theme to the Munsters playing in my head and it'll be a day or two before I expunge it from memory, but knowing the Munsters Theme, it'll come back again...probably at 3am. I love the way you manipulated everything in this and worked the residents in. I'm sure they're quiet...the cool neighbors always are. Nice, moody architecture, and great colors. Now, I wonder if the address to the place is 1313 Mockingbird Lane? (Why do I remember the Munster's address?) Great work!

My mother named me after Mrs. Munster... Well, actually, she named me after Yvonne DeCarlo, but I didn't know who that was until Mrs. M came along. Needless to say, I've always had a love for the spooky stuff. Great postwork on the neighbors! : )
