Description

Basically the same scene as in "Golden October"

- but this time I wanted the look of the other side of autumn - grey, damp and dull. Also all trees are now my own design (Onyxtree). Though the Vue HD trees have become very good, I still like my own better :) The ferns are modified veg-plants. Vue 7.4 Complete render. Levels corrections, framing & signature in Photoshop. You do excellent work. I was wondering though, how much art training you have? Your compositions of landscapes are really good, and I know making a really good composition in a landscape is difficult. You really did change the mood of the picture with your small color alterations. The only problem is the title -- it doesn't do justice to the work. I do not find the muted colors "dull", I find them quite serene. Might I suggest a title of "Serene October" or "Quiet October" or something along those lines would be more in keeping with the mode of the picture.

I like this one better than your previous one, mainly because the atomsphere feels quiet and tranquil ...I like the tree on the left, not sure what you mean by Vue HD trees, but I will check it out..(I have not been on Vue's website lately).
