Description

If you remember the 1982 film adaptation of "Annie", you undoubtedly will recall Punjab saving Annie from being chased off the end of a wide-open draw bridge by the evil Rooster Hannigan. Punjab was flying one of these,...a Kellett K-2 Autogiro, obviously owned by Daddy Warbucks. Looks best ZOOMED. This K-2 sits in a display in the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. It was purchased by the Army Air Corps and tested in Dayton for use as an observation aircraft in 1931. No, it isn't a helicopter:) Bill:) Note: The strange patterns on the rear wall are from a stage light and represent a tree with leaves.

I haven't seen the picture, but seeing this aircraft I wish I could fly in it - feel the wind and listen to the sounds!!!

This is a cool version of my post of this one.. I put up a while ago... I love the sepia look to it!! That's nice a nice feel... Well done Bill... Don't remember the the film myself! But I have to say the aircraft was pretty cool!!.... Rob
