Jin shouted to Rose over the din of the party, "I'm recording it for posterity. So shut up!" Rose laughed. "No cake for you!" River prince came up to Sunshine who tried not to glare at him. He scuffed his foot in all to human an action and said, "Please don't hate me for something I did when I was baby! I has feeling for you. You is my best friend. Best friend forever. Is why I flew down on the big dragon lady. She was attacking you. And....um, Toxic,too. I was almost died from her tearing my skins off. It still hurts." Sunshine looked around. She saw Toxic with her new Pengy puppet and she waved her puppet at River Prince, with an intense look. She saw Jaeko come up next to Toxic and waved the robot penguin at her. He said, "He did pay for it with his own money." She took a breath and looked over at Lime, who turned as she looked at her adopted sister. Lime was smiling and waving at the camera. Sunshine said, "Promise not to eat my sister, and I'll be your friend again. BEST friend!" Prince croseed his heart and said, "Best friends. I has them! I has promises,too. I promise it always not to eat friends. Only food and stuff like that! Alright?" Sunshine nodded with a smile and hugged him, "Alright." Prince pulled her to him in a tight hug as Lime lost her smile. Jin saw it immediately. She looked at Toxic and gave a jerk of the head at Lime. Toxic picked up on it and had her puppet start gnawing on Lime's head, while she gave out her high Pengy voice, "I make no promises! I eat you head! I eat it now! NOM-NOM-NOM!" Lime giggled and squirmed around and fought off the attacking puppet with a loud squeal and kicking feet. Many of the people in the room broke up laughing at Toxic's antics as Rose put a hand on Jin's shoulder. Rose whispered to her, "Thank you. Are you sure you aren't cybernetic or that Toxic ISN'T telepathic?" Jin shrugged. "Toxic isn't stupid. She IS ignorant, but she acts like she's an idiot as camouflage. People ALWAYS underestimate her and that is another strength she has. People always underestimate clowns. She might have the power to kill millions, but most would NEVER think it after talking with her for two minutes. I taught her that." Rose chortled as several people broke into an impromptu chorus of the Happy Birthday song to Sunshine. Afterwards, Toxic said to Jaeko as her handed the robot Penguin over to Sunshine, "Presents LATER! Cake NOW! It's chocolate and has some kind of berries in it too! MMmmmm! My favorite!" Sunshine said, "No, it's not! You never had it before!" Toxic stamped her foot and exclaimed, "NUH-HUNH! I ate at that bakery before. Thistledown showed the woman there your picture and baked it SPECIAL for you. SHE LOVES to bake stuff. She thought you are CUTE,too. I can feel the love in the cake!" Prince nodded. "Me,too. The cake has lots of good feelings and Love." Jin drew back for a moment and looked over at Rose who had the same curious expression on her face. Rose whispered, "Again with 'feeling love' in things. Very bizarre." Jin nodded. "Toxic always talked like that. I thought it was just an affectation. Maybe not?" When cake was handed out, Jin watched Toxic and Prince eat their pieces with such naked relish and enjoyment, it was somewhat creepy to her. It was like alcoholics taking to booze, in her mind. She was glad to be recording it. Most people liked the second cake as much, but Prince and Toxic wouldn't touch it. Jin came up to Toxic and asked, "What's wrong with that cake?" Toxic shrugged and smiled, "It's dead. Made by a machine or something." Prince nodded. "Like a stone. Feels like stone in mouth. Food should have feelings! Love is delicious!" Toxic's pengy nodded, as she said through it,"Preach it, brother! No dead food for me! I eat Lime's head with feelings!" She attacked Lime's head again to squeals of laughter.
