Description

At first I was convinced of having taken a picture of a honey mushroom, but I soon became convinced of the fact that it was something different but I couldn't figuere out what it was actually. The shrooms were growing on a tree, I think beech and they where shining..and very orange. Lorandbartho helped me out here and it is most likely that 'my' shroom is a Pholiota aurivella. Lorand, thanks again.

OH, I wish I had taken that shot. It is wonderful Oskar. What a gorgeous find, lucky you. I dont know either what it is called, but maybe Lorandbartho knows. He is the expert :-)

wonderful pic! It might be worth looking at the Rustgills (Gymnophilus), and also Flammulina velutipes (Velvet Shank), which last is in the top 100 likely to be seen here in the UK.
