Description
Both this image and my preceding post were from a late night Halloween "Owl Prowl" at the local Raptor Recovery Center. Cold as hell but worth the pain for the gain: seeing and hearing these magnificent birds.

I saw my first owl in the wild, last week what a thrill I was able to get three shots of him, but mostly I just stood there and took it in... what a beautiful capture..
