Description
The photo was taken at El Muelle in San Carlos, Costa Rica. This big iguana was feasting on papaya when we arrived.

Iguanas are wonderful creatures...they are among my favorite reptiles...there's something dinosaur-like about them, only they're quietly elegant. Wonderful work of this critter and his surroundings. Great work.

They can be a bit tempermental so I would say a close-up shot would be for someone braver than I. Very creative shot.
