This is a beauty. I'm a confirmed ophidiophile (is that how you spell it?) and so any image like this is going to appeal to me. I've always liked snakes and always lamented the fact that I never had any as pets. Oh well. This is gorgeous, this critter is so sleek and he looks inquisitive! Fantastic work, best viewed zoomed too...so many details pop out.

What a gorgeous creature! I don't know how I missed this earlier in the week ... I must have been asleep at the wheel. I love snakes, and this one is beautiful! Light, dof, texture ... all excellent. Congrats on having this selected for LWITG ... it's a totally worthy image!
