Description

Took the kids to a fun little place called Dell’Osso family farm. They have been around for generations here in the valley and always put on a Halloween fair since my living in the area. This was a fun little motif. Just on the other side of this Halloween centerpiece of a mining sloughs is a little western town. Amongst the many storefronts is a mining claim office were you could purchase 5 or 8-pound sacks for placing in the sloughs by means of a screening box. There were arrowheads, fossils and minerals to emerge from the bags inert materials. Just as the bounty emerges from the water. Another kind of treasure emerges from the child, a beaming smile. :~) Thank you for the kind comments on my last post.
