Description
An attempt at something historical. Created the Flak 88's and the Spotlight in Maya then posed, lit and rendered out the foreground objects as a .tif within Maya using Mental Ray, then created the background in VUE. Buildings are simply box primitives with the destroyed texture. B17's were bought from Cornucopia3D. You can't see them all, but there's a bomber stream of about 50 planes in the air! Rendered out the Background then put the two together in Adobe After Effects (My Modus Operandi). Heavy grain added, Heavy use of Trapcode Shine, Particular and LUX. Used LUX on the spotlight for the beam. Also used Film Magic Pro by Videocopilot.net for the Sepia coloring. I know the shadows are missing under the Flak 88's, but it's 1:19 AM here and I'll fix it tomorrow maybe, but probably not. Anyway, my entry in the Historical genre, back to Sci-FI !

Neiwil, Thank You. You're definitely right, running figures would have been beneficial. Only reason I didn't include any is because I am not a Poser fan, so I don't have any authentic dress for the figures. Having the default characters running around in jeans and a T-shirt didn't strike me as beneficical, and since I don't have any German uniforms to put them in, I just left the people to your own imagination. Would be better with some people running around though. Again, Thanks for the comments and honest constructive criticism!
