the Great Dame is 17 months old and he going to train it to go to the old folks homes for them to pet. photo was taken on halloween night and he walked with his children and my grandson and my son family. real nice man and dog is wonderful. Learn a lot aboput great dames. They have to have a bed to sleep in and eats 50 pounds of food in a week to week and a halve. can not take the cold much also. at lest this one can not.

Yes Great danes are awesome, but not for the beginning k-9 owner. They are a sensitive breed and require alot of attention.

My best friend (who has passed) had a great dane and as large as they are they are like babies so gentle however,don;t let them sit on your foot as he broke hers lol:: such a awwwwwwwwwwwwwww moment photo!

I saw a lady walking one last week and it's back was even with her waist. I wanted one at one time but after I learned how much they ate and that they only live about 7-8 years, I decided I just couldn't. It would break my heart to lose it so soon. Fabulous shot!

years ago I had one for a short time and standing on his hind legs his head was higher than myself. he thought that he should be able to lay on your lap in a one person chair.he was weighing 175 and was under weight.I could not afford to feed him so I gave him away.super night shot
