Castles are such a wonder, even when they're in partial ruins...actually they're more of a wonder when they're partly ruined. I have an interesting relationship with castles. I like them for what they are and not what they represent to so many, and so seeing one in ruins or partial ruins really has a positive effect on me because they remind me of something long past and probably best forgotten, but there's no denying their important role in human history. This is a great piece of work. I haven't seen this castle for myself just yet, but I've been close to it as I lived in Germany and the Czech Republic for a long time...so I've seen castles. I'm always amazed that castles outside of the Czech Republic lack garish paint jobs! Great work!

wow, what a place, the greys make it almost look like a painting. That view would make a nice painting. I bet it was neat to visit.
