Description
This image is dedicated to Lynell (tennesseecowgirl). She is one of the sweetest ladies in the gallery and a friend for some time now. Her gallery is filled with beautiful photos of nature, and is always a pleasure to visit. Lynell has a charming nature and really can touch you with her words. She has the ability to make people smile no matter how bad they feel. When you combine her charm with her talent for photography it is the perfect combination. She has done so much for me that I wanted to do a dedication for her. Lynell shared this story with me, and I wanted to share it with all of you. She really did a great job of providing so many details, and brought it to life for me.
Kitties In The Closet (for tennesseecowgirl): It was the fourth of July, and Lynell was excited because it was her birthday. The people in her neighborhood had a big party to celebrate the holiday, and her birthday. She had a great time playing games with everyone, but she had one problem. Her cat Tiger was gone, and she couldn't find her. Tiger was afraid of loud fireworks, and she would hide all the time. Lynell's brother Randy talked her into playing baseball, and told her they would search for Tiger later. Lynell went to the closet to get her baseball glove, and was surprised when she opened the door. She saw Tiger looking up at her with four kittens moving all around. They purred and snuggled as close to their Mom as they could. Lynell knelt down on the floor. She rubbed one kitten on his belly as he rolled all about. Soon Lynell's family came in to check on her. Her brother Randy knelt down beside her and looked on in awe. Her older siblings Loraine and Frank were so happy too, and could only stare at the closet kitties. This was the best birthday present Lynell could ever hope for, the gift of new life.
P.S. Lynell do you recognize anyone on the wall ;)

Cute. I'm always a sucker for cat pictures and those kittens are particularly adorable. The posters of the cheesy 70's pop idols are a nice detail too.

Tiger has that satisfied expression that says, "Hey, look what I did! Now get out of my closet, I'll call you if I want anything". So kitty. Looks like someone didn't get fixed. When we adopted one of our cats, whose name is Scoop, we were assured that she must have been spayed though there was no record from the humane society about it. Shortly after bringing her home she started to engage in loud, nocturnal, amorous trysts with our male cat (the late great siberian tabby) Dusty. This of coarse raised alarm bells with us and we assumed Scoop was still intact. Thus we decided to have the procedure done as we did not wish to add more mixed kittens to the world - the inevitable result of an unfixed female. Well, the vet put her under and shaved her belly. And then we got a phone call explaining that Scoop has a surgical scar from being spayed. Gosh how we laughed, until the vet charged us for the spaying that he didn't do. Scoop: The cat so nice, we fixed her twice. Is someone a fan David Cassidy?
