Where does time go? It is hard to even believe. As I know we all do, I just miss him so much. Linda, I so hope you are doing okay, love. I am constantly sending tons of love your way, and think of you so very often, but fear intruding. And Mark, thank you again (always) for keeping your promise, and for the time and energy you spend in giving each of us the chance to continue sharing Dirk through his art. It means so incredibly much. With my arms wide open...a huge, very warm loving hug to both of you.

This is fantastic and a reminder of something and someone who continues to have a profound effect on the world. Dirk has had an influence on me and I continue to feel it, especially when I write. Thank you for posting this and marking something and someone who has managed to do so much.

Oh Mark, This is so beautiful! I would like to remember him this way. The light shining on him and his face lifted to it. He is still missed. I don't come here much any more. I am posting at a different gallery, but I think of him often. He touched so many of our lives with his beautiful art. Most important is that he shared with us his walk towards that final place that we all pass in to. He showed us the dignity he had, his anger, and at the end, he showed his acceptance. I know from his writing that he felt that death was the end, and even though I am pagan, I believe that there is an afterlife. I hope when the door to this life closed, that he found another door to pass though that lead him on... Lea

Started missing Dirk again today and dropped in to visit old memories. When I came across this, I was so touched. He was truly a remarkable human being and an exceptional artist. I miss him so much.

I really don't know what to say... Though I didn't know him I feel that he brought a great deal of his knowledge and experience of fractals to the world. I send my condolensces to his family and friends and though he is gone in the physical...he will live on in the hearts of his family and friends and that is what makes living through this a little more easier to bear everyday.
