Description

After a long time, I finally started to take pictures again. I experimented with my new light from the building centre - halogen spot light :) What do you think? Tell me, what I can improve. Greetings Mine

Beautiful portrait, well lit with specular high lights, and well composed. Don't be afraid to experiment with diffusion for soft lighting, reflector to one side with light source in different positions both horizontally and vertically. You have a good eye and the technical ability to achieve wonderful creations!

Nicely done...the water droplets seem milky! Are they?

Thank you for your feedback. The waterdrops are actually water. I have a layer of vaseline on my face, and then just water :)

I do like this photo. As it is, the portrait is quite strong and effective. As Cullen suggested, experiment with softer lighting might be worth it for a different approach, for instance a softer shadow. Considering halogen, you got the color right as well as can be judged by different monitors. These are just thoughts. I am certainly not an expert or qualified judge of "studio" lighting.

I think this is a wonderful portrait. I personally love the lighting you have used. There are lines on her cheeks that could be softened, but I'm just being picky! Great stuff.
