Description

I live on the edge of the city.. the real edge, they can't build anything more from a hundred feet from my back door, because there's this valley out there. Across the valley from my place is a small hamlet called Vienerville, named after Harry Viener, a former Mayor of Medicine Hat. the moon was just coming up, golden, vivid, a glowing ball of cold stone, suspended in the evening sky... clouds obscure slightly, geese and ducks flying south to warmer climes for the winter. As the air gets colder, the stars twinkle brighter, the moon sheds more light, and the moring sun is more vibrant.... somedays, living on the prairie is better than good, better than great... it's nice!

Outstanding shot! "...like a big pizza pie...." For some reason I've never been able to get the moon to jump out like that in my shots. Beautiful. Hope you're all bundled up for the winter, my friend. I'm raking leaves today, but weather (and moon) permitting, I might just dust off the camera:) Stay warm...or get frosty if you choose:))

Now that's a change from the snow-scape, you had to deal with, as of recently, I get definitely an eerie sort of feeling, looking at this valley. extremely interesting capture, I like it where you live, soooo unusual ! BB
