Hello All,
I've been uploading images for a couple months now and getting some great feedback so I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.Â
I'm 46 years old and live in beautiful East Tennessee in the United States.Â
I am a Software Engineer by trade but I've been an artist of one form or another since I was young. My personality profile rates me as "Analytical / Expressive" which pretty much fits my career / art choice. I started drawing in pencil and charcoal. I soon got into photography and had the wonderful fortune of marrying my childhood sweetheart who just happened to be stunningly beautiful and one heck of a model. I also live near the Great Smoky Mountains which are part of the Appalachian chain. Great source of photography subjects!!Â
I pretty much got out of art altogether when my two beautiful daughters came along. I'm a bit of an athlete (baseball, softball, basketball, soccer) and my daughters are taking after me! They keep me very busy running from practice to practice while I still try and squeeze in my league games. Anyway, I still find time to fit in a little art every now and then. A friend of mine pointed me to DAZ studio, a wonderful free 3d art software product. I fooled with it for a short period and then had to have Poser. I'm learning from the ground up and I think it shows in how my images are improving. I'm a BIG fan of Boris Valejo, a science fantasy artist. I think my work looks a lot like his "style".
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying my images. I'm sure enjoying your comments. As you can see above, I'm a busy man with my sports and my daughters' sports so please forgive me if I'm a little slow putting up new images.

Dude!! This is great! I love it because it is a full scene, not just a portrait. Also, the background is so fantastically detailed. Another thing that stands out is that you have three figures in one scene. Big time production! :-) I'd like to see more of this.
