Description
I have seen these in the yard only a couple of times. Never able to get a shot of one though before this morn. This one was on a Hibiscus plant. Sat still for about 4 shots.
While a blow fly, you can see the difference from your avg. one. Much stouter and the eyes are very different. Notice how the upper part of the eye has very large facets while the lower half's are smaller.

The blow fly has a huge larvae. This is a fabulous shot of an adult and the detail is mind-blowing.
