In her senior year at the Carellonian College of Mystics, Princess Tabitha Augustine assumed the position of School Librarian, something many would never have suspected of her. The position also gave her a little money of her own and allowed her extra time away from campus. One would think the opposite. However, with her ability to almost instantly absorb written documents, she was spending a great deal less time at the college.

Her talents and interest in theater led her to scour the city for playhouses and street troupes. Her libido would lead her into trouble. Her sister would get her out. The fact that the King and Queen never got involved in any of her youthful indiscretions was one of the main reasons that she and her sister were permitted to head off on their own soon after her graduation. Queen Amanda figured that if they could get themselves out of whatever trouble they got themselves into, they were grownup enough to be on their own. That didn’t keep her from occasionally sending members of the Tallivian Guard after them to spy on them from afar.

But that last year of college, on the bad streets of the south side of Hobmarz, anything could have happened.
