Wonderful image - of course this can apply to any country and any political system with little or no adjustments. Excellent

Een staaltje van hoe men met relatief weinig materiaal ZOVEEL zeggen kan . Nog een deuntje van Fr.Bauer of Eddy Wally er bij en 't is helemaal kompleet.

Unfortunately the democracies are directed by a lot of professional politicians who often just like the power...and sometimes advantages going with! I saw a lot of them at their beginning in the university when I was a student, at the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's: they knew what to say and how to say it, so that the some "people" follow their ideas like sheeps. They could be communists, socialists, anarchists, nazis, supporters of the liberalism, ecologists....They were the same kind of people : leaders. They fought in the streets with steel rods and used to paint tags on the walls with often stupid basic slogans, and now they are deputies in the French Assembly or in the European Assembly...They loved Mao, Hitler, Adam Smith, the Revolution and now they love the Power. It's strange to see that in the old communists countries, most of the old communists leaders are always so powerful...and now supporters of the liberalism! Just few of our great world leaders are "pure" and act with sincerity. I think that Obama is one of them.

Superb image, Koosie! very funny but unfortunately true. But, I suppose, maybe less dangerous than being divided.

Koosie, this is priceless! It doesn't matter where it is, it seems to fit in any part of the world. It must be genetic! Wobbly politicians for a wobbly world. Brilliant creativity! Thanks for my first morning laugh!

Oh this is so spot on. I can't say that I'm actually disappointed with the EU...but I do find it strange that they're worried about "standardized" things like "fruit curvatures" and the textures of oranges sold in the EU...it's funny in a way. I was talking to Croatian friends of mine and they were bemoaning the fact that the European Union no longer allows independent farmers to sell their stuff as natural fruits DON'T look like some marketing executive has determined fruits should look. That really got to me when I heard it, and so while I was in a small Czech town, I made sure to eat and photograph a bunch of Non EU standard apples, just to preserve their memory. Yeah, and okay, I was hungry too! Great work here, and I love the commentary. It's not just the EU that wobbles so wonderfully, any country or coalition of countries ruled by human beings has that wobbling thing down perfectly. Humans are just good at wobbling! Wonderful work and commentary.

There is a lot of wobbling in the US but in between wobbles they point fingers and demonize. A very unproductive and destructive political climate over here. It's been that way for a while, with no signs of improvement. Like 3DClassics, I rate Obama pretty high, but he's just one man. Wonderful image and commentary!

I'm skipping some images only because it will take me all day to do them all; hopefully you'll know how much I appreciate them all by what I do comment on. (And I may come back and get others too...) On this, considering that 2-3000 years of European history was replete with war, the very fact of an EU is pretty amazing: But what's equally amazing is that it's subject to the same foibles that all organizations are. (At least you don't have America pouncing all over the place.) A lovely rendering of the concept--a bunch of peoples tripping and tilting over themselves, while they try to stay together. And they're friendly despite it all. But equally, your render of each pawn is downright wonderful, the light & shade changes with each tilt etc, and they're random but still hold the center. And I didn't notice the rounded bottoms till just now! What a delightful touch! As if to say they can't stand straight for long, lol. And good use of 2 intense blues, and of course your signature white space. (I can't say "negative space" because it's always positive to me.) Funny & finely done, and true to life. Really, if this is the worst it gets, Europe will be ahead of most of the world. That much I can say for sure.
