Description
A five hour drive on a long weekend
the falls of the Columbia River Gorge
called to me and begged me to visit
The eight mile hike brought me here
to rest and ponder the life I drove away from
the beauty of the place overwhelmed me
and the tears fell into pools at my feet
as the water fell from the cliff above
surrounding the rock below....
