Hanks half-brother Hengist is the most negative of the siblings. He blames Hank for his father's death, and has spent way too much time trying to protect his father's fiefdom to have time for love. Meanwhile, Hank has gone off on his merry way drinking and carousing, leaving Hengist to fend for the family's inheritance on his own. One of the brothers will eventually become the ruler of the five fiefs, and they will join together against the feral elves. But for now their differences keep them from their destiny.

Gee I had a story line all worked out and you spoiled it by adding your own in the middle of the comments. In my story line this male is Prince Ivan Biggun, who carries the biggist sword in the Biggun Clan. The woman is the Lady Adora who believs that the size thing is not a myth.
