Beautiful scene...I can hear the brook babbling:-) I notice in you bio you've moved from Long Island to Florida recently. I grew up on Long Island...all in Nassau County...went to high school in Roslyn but left in 1958 with only an occasional return visit since.

From what I understand, a Good part of this park used to be greeks, ponds and swampland. Before a sink hole opened up in Lake Jackson. Long ago the native Indians used to build big earthen mounds and live in huts on top of them.
