Wow! Das sieht total echt aus mit dem Dampf der zum Himmel aufsteigt und zu einer Wolke wird. Der bizarre Canyonrand ist wunderschön. Eine fantastische Arbeit lieber Max, bei dir steckt in jedem Bild ganz viel Herzblut und Arbeit!!!

What a beautiful representation of a cosmic accident, where after the fall of a meteorite, a deep funnel widened through various layers of the earth to reach a great depth and discovered a lake of water-rich copper oxide. Unless it is a small volcano activity, which would explain the layers of volcanic dépôy alluvium, reaching today a sulfurous lake at a temperature not negligible. The detailed work of this magnificent creation allows to consider both cases ... the colors used sow doubt in my mind. One thing is sure, this extremely detailed work had to take several hours for such a success! MAx thank you for this masterpiece!

This is a beautiful landscape for sure and I spent a long time studying it. I think many of your works like this one would make excellent exam or term paper questions in senior level geology classes. They have all the elements of reall landscapes in them. I would simply ask the question "Could such a landscape exist on earth. Why or why not?" Or, explain the conditions that would be necessary for such a landscape to exist. This one is very intriguing and I thought about it a lot and came to the conclusion that the probability of this landscape existing in all its detail is very low. But that does not at all detract from the beauty of the composition... indeed it is utterly thought provoking but in a different way than what you would normally expect in landscape art.
