Description
In this scene, The Ordeal, a monk undergoes the task of climbing the immense pillars in this dark, red world. As with The Execution, the reason for his labour is up to the viewer- he could be attempting to gain a higher rank, undergoing an initiation ceremony or merely performing a daily task which gets him on to the prayer wheel in the first place. I was glad to finally have a reason to finish modeling their serpent god, although I'm left with the feeling that it was a bit cheap in the end.
