".. apparently ignoring each other." No no .. I've seen this routine before .. often in Times Square during the busy tourist season. They just want you to think they don't know each other. If you weren't concentrating so intensely upon getting the shot you would have heard the Great E' say, "Be a little more patient! Just wait till he gets a little closer with that camera." ;-) A real nice photograph, Mark. The composition is perfect and you have them both cooperating, without one turning his head in an unhelpful manner. The "tear" in the depth of field is just perfect to keep the eyes where they belong. My only question is .. how is that tender little branch supporting the weight of the Snowy? Maybe the big fells'a making him walk the plank!? Really nice! Terry

Oh! I love the lighting on this, that soft blue it really makes the birds stand out. I think the Great Egret said "You go first, I'm right behind you" I see them everyday and I never become tired of the sight. Once again, you've captured the moment perfectly.
