Night Magick

Later that night in the darkest hour before the dawn, the magick finally happens. Ancient spells roll ponderously into place as multi-dimensional spacetime translations occur. Across the essentially infinite reaches of Plankes Constant, quantum probabilities tumble into this world from ‘somewhere else’. Matter and energy that has been locked away for two millennia in a fractional dimension of no-space is now pouring in torrents of power to assume a new reality in this dimension - and that which had long been hidden is now revealed!

Silent waves of ‘not-light’ burst in dazzling splendour from what was previously an anonymous wall of mossy rock as matter and energy change form in accordance with the insanely complex incantations of mighty spells laid down in antiquity.

Sam and Amy sleep nearby, unsuspecting and unknowing as the magick of long-gone and long forgotten wizards unravels in accordance with prophecy. Most of the magick is occurring at frequencies of being indiscernible to untrained Human awareness. Even if the minstrels had been awake they would have not seen very much.

But to the eyes of a cat – beings that dwell in more than one place at a time – the eldritch glow of re-manifesting matter and energy is a clear and fascinating sight…..
