I am strictly a novice to the world of 3D, having "discovered" Bryce recently and am trying to learn as much as possible from online resources.
Updated for 2008: I have migrated to the world of Vue and am just starting my venture into this wonderful program.
BIO
I am a transplanted Swede who now lives in Montana where I have been teaching Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver at our local community college. These days, I am concentrating my efforts in the 3D area, dabbling in Hexagon, Daz Studio, and Vue. I enjoy taking the graphics courses at LVS Online. While I am waiting for some new 3D courses to be developed at lvs, I am loving the Geek at Play tutorials.

cool work, here are my suggestions to improve the quality of sunrays, go to volume light settings, in the light editor tab, under "volumetric" move the quality boost slider all the way to the right (to highest quality) for more smooth rays (in fact you can type in higher than 4.0 ), but longer rendering times will happen but much less grainess in the volume light....Also in the shadows tab of volume light editor, select "soft shadow map- no hard shadows" below using shadow map section...this way it will show soft shadows on the ground instead of hard shadows. The rays are perfect what you have there, love it! Worldbuilder program was my first love of the program years back due to excellent sunrays and grasses, I abandoned that software and went to Vue (although I still use WB every once in a while)...since Vue now has ecosystems and excellent Volume light settings such as making superior sunrays....
