Description
Rome, recently, San Giovanni in Laterano (Rome's cathedral).
I just wanted a sharp picture, so I shot twice.

It sounds like you're mocking them Domi...and the gentleman on the left appears to be making a disdainfull grimace. It was nuns that taught me to read. Moreover they operated a hospital in my neighborhood for decades laboring tirelessly for the sick. Why such hostility? Personally, I respect their modesty and devotion to service.

Very nice shots! Well done.

Neat capture, I've never seen them toting backpacks before. : )

They really do seem to be walking at a brisk pace as if they are on a mission. Great scene. I find no mocking in the scene, the gentleman on the left is not even looking at them, he is squinting in the sun talking to his friend. Great shot!

There is no hostility in my pictures, just a little ounce of humor (yars ago, I also worked with nuns in my profession).

Excellent pics! some of the best people I've known have been nuns or monks. They obviously don't belong to a poverty order, all that kit!
