Last year I was testing light and glass. that was around 4/08 and 5/08 of last year. andy way my trick is broken and I was looking at my stuff and find them so I got two of the best ones that look like this but it diff lighting and put them together into one render. This is what came out and I was happy with the colors. I then started playing around and will up load some more that lead up to "Alice going thought the looking glass" Hope you do not mind these tests and playing around. I think you like them and see what glass and light do.
these are just terrain with mats I made in photoshop to get the cubes shapes I did make the terrain solid and at 1024 resolution or highter.
many differ types of lights here I forgot but differ colors as you see. I did not expore all the diff ways that the lighting will look in the glass. Glass is on heavy glass. I did use deffer types of glass but I like the heavy the best. Each glass will act a little diff in the same lighting

I do hhave some of those images I did last year around end of 4/09 and 5/09 in my gallery incast you wish to look at them. I would look them up but I on dail up oh forgot to say my ideas do not come out of thin air at times. I just start expermenting like this and ideas leads to another one. all this started out of me trying to make a 3D northern lights that looks as real as I can. I just wanted to do it on my own and things lead to other things.

Color and reflections is one of the things that Bryce does very well. This magenta color is one of the ones that catches the eye very well... This is a very interesting image as it has all three of the colors used in printing (Cyan, magenta and yellow) and when you mix them, as light and not ink, you get pure white light. With these three colors one can make any color imaginable.. Excellent work my friend..
