Okay, okay, I admit it, I really dropped the ball on our Halloween images this year. A HUGE sorry to those of you who were looking forward to seeing them. (all, what? Four of you? KIDDING!! *grin*) But, my computer and the camera are having issues in communication (AGAIN!) and, per Mikeerson's keen observation of last years photo-fest (translation: I don't want to be accused of Halloween at Thanksgiving ;-) ); so I am going to, for the most part, forego the Halloween '09 images this year (there really wasn't too much new this year, honestly. Hopefully, I'll manage some better shots than those I DID manage to get for next year (ie: NOT while we're still setting stuff up and have the toolbox and other junk on the table we set up). I'm going to TRY to post one or two with our carved pumpkins and the 'Captain's Table' set up we had going, but I'm still working on doing some editing on them, and I have an interesting 3D challenge I have set before myself....IF DAZ will *&%#*($ing work with me! ~~~~ ANYWAY!!!! I just couldn't resist this shot when the opportunity came! And, no, it wasn't (entirely) staged! Star was laying around (one of those things Starling's do best!), She had one of her toys close by and was dozing in just the right pose, so, I put the frog between her forepaws and SHE clutched her paw around it like she was hugging it! (I swear to Dog, it's true!) She just let out this HUGE sigh (another thing Starling's do best) and it just sounded so contented and happy, I HAD to get this shot! Usually (at least of late) Miz Star has no patience for me being a paparazzi, but she stayed this way through several shots until I got just the right one, and I had to share it! Hope you like her little 'precious moment' and, yes, there WILL be at least a few Halloween images! Ahhhh, that's so cute! Darn I must be one of the four, was looking forward to seeing the Halloween pics! And besides, Canada has its Thanksgiving in October, on the second monday of the month so that comes before Halloween and do we hear gripes about that? :O)

Stacey this one really is so adorable and it seems Star really loves her toys. I believe you as my dog will do the same thing and even lay his head on his blue dog
