My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Before I read your comment I was stunned at the detail... How amazing! You are certainly giving the doors of Chicago a new zest for life with your great works Dierbaar! :)

Is this kind of like "Where's Waldo"--I could never find him either!! Oh, these doorways, there could be a foto shoot of nothing but them---when are we leaving?? Beautiful!!

Another excellent Door shot. This has so many wonderful details. A fantastic bunch of work had been done, to make this look so elegant. Super shot, Tara.

jocko500
now that a door to have on my house. super looking
bmac62
Let's see, counting the reflection, three kinds of brick, at least four kinds of glass (didn't forget the lamp), four kinds of metal (wrought iron mostly, lead as the softest, pot metal lamp, fancy cast something as the door handle), mid-western sandstone (maybe from Kansas), at least two-three types of wood (hardwood door, maybe pine window and door trim), mortar between the bricks and green leaves on the plant. That adds up to...16-17... You knew I'd try and count 'em didn't you? Wow, great doorway and a sharp photo that sure fulfills the promise of your title! This was fun. What's next?

Fantastic photo! I won't bother to count, it takes away from the enjoyment of the picture

This is stunning. I'm so accustomed to Chicago without as many details, though I have to admit that maybe I'm a bit biased as well, against Chicago, I mean. At any rate, WOW! This is a top notch photo. I'd give you part of this comment in Afrikaans, but I don't know diddly-squat in that language, and so here's a snippet in a language I DO know a little bit of: Это красивейше. Это совершенный фотоснимок! At least I think that's how you say it. WONDERFUL work! And I counted at least 14 different textures before I gave up.

Lovely work, this is an amazing shot of the doorway and the objects round about..
koosievantutte
fantastic door - very fine shot.

This is so lush, overflowing. The wrought iron, the windows, the brick work, the lamp, the beautiful wooden door and the fantastic iron work on the door. This has a real Victorian feel to it. A perfect capture
elfin14doaks
Fantastic shot. It looks like our front door used to way back in the historical records. We have the same door, but the iron work was taken off before we bought it. A lot of the old fixtures are still laying around tucked into cubbies we are still finding after 6 years. The walled them up and it's been like Christmas everytime we find one.I am hoping to run across it.

Thanks to Bill, I didn't have to inventory everything. Lots to like. The lamp, iron railings, stained glass on the left and the door itself. Bugs me that the door knob is on the left side. Exquisite capture Tara. Dana
