Description

Well, let it never be said that when I am asked to deliver that I fail (and anyone who DOES say that, a warning....I'm sending my rabid, psychotic, undead vampire pirate puppy after you! She KNOWS where to find you!!!!!) *ahem* Anyway, since the computer and memory card from the camera seem to be getting along (for now), I have managed to pull a few images from our Halloween display to share. ~~~~ This was in our little sheltered alcove where we meet up with those brave souls who dared enter our "Haunted Cavern of Doooooooooooooom!!!" (and were brave enough to pass through our entry way and got past our 'greeting guardians'. The inset image on the left is of the three bleeding candles when they were first lit - and, no, there, wasn't really much more light than that to work with other than that cast by our various strobes, a very Gothic chandalier and a blacklight at the fore of area. All enhanced by the glow of flickering candles, strobe lights in the graveyard and blacklight to give my big pet spider Harry (Harry, Harry Spider...and before you ask, his name predates anything even REMOTELY Harry Potter-esque). I do have a few shots of us in costume too, but those will be the coup de grace for this little look back on Samhain. Enjoy! ~~~~ To see what the entry looked like for our display, I HIGHLY suggest you go check out the dark shot Scott posted. It came out really spectacularly! http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1977118 ~~~~ Photo (c) 2009 Twilight Productions

Excellent shot, my dear! Really highlights our...errr... your table, Captain winks and I love how you incorporated the inset of the lit candles! Fantastic work! Please don't sick your rabid, psychotic, undead vampire pirate puppy on me! I can only take so much of her hypnotic "pity me/pet me/give me the cookies or else" gaze!!

So cool! As for your rabid.....puppy! Please do! I have left over trick or treaters in the fridge and hate to see them go to waste, so its either find a friend to feed them to or toss them out. I need room for the pilgrims. :O)

Well, a strange thing happened the other night You won't believe it, but I swear it's true Harry the hairy spider made his escape from the Stacey's zoo & under cover of darkness he made his way To the middle of the municipal park & he hid in the bushes & waited for somebody to come Walkin' along by hi'self in the dark Then along come somebody not suspectin' nothin' Harry jump out of the bushes all of a sudden Beat on his chest (sound effect of this action) Jump up & down & he say: Wooo-hoo-hee-hee-hoo-hoo... Which is Harry-Spider talk for "Boo, I betcha I scared you, ha ha!" Just had to do it.
