Yeah, original VUe trees are not the best. If you have botanica module, try to play with polygon numbers, shapes and textures, even better is to buy some trees at Cornucopia 3d...or find some good free stuff here at Rendo's...

Consider this; Go back and compare your first several Classic TG with your latest ones ....see the difference? Any of these programs can yield some great images - it just takes times to develop the techniques. Light, atmo and POV can change this image many, many ways. Give it time.

Hey, nobody said it would be easy, but this looks fine, some poly grass etc would pick it up a bit. What version of Vue are you using, what sort of computer spec are you running Vue on. Take a look at this in my gallery, all the trees were freebies, mostly from here. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1816363 Do a google for Vue infinite freebies trees/plants or similar, see how you get on, let me know if you need further assistance. I like your scene and so much better than I could do. I have downloaded Vue but that is as far as I have got.

Great render, crisp and clear like spring itself. I love how fresh the green of the leaves came out. The contrast with the shadow is beautiful.

Getting to grips with a new app can be frustrating at times....but to my untrained (in Vue) eye those trees look fine...^_^....I have great faith that your artistic talent will soon have you knocking out some stunning Vue renders!!...just takes a little time mate!.
