Description
These are the main german tanks that would have been found both in Russia & Italy in front line use during 1943(I don't include assault guns). All the tanks were rendered in poser on the same render with the poser dork for scale. Then the render was finished in PS for the layout to make it look like a book color plate. For the tanker I used the poser dork, removed the map & left him white to get that mannequin look, the pants were included in poser with new texture & morphed in poser for the tucked in look, boots from macmullin, feldmutz & german army flag from thuderr, truppenbluze (tank jacket) from naoki with belt. For the panzers, from top to bottom: Panzer III M from gunpoint, Panzer IV F from JFandL, Panzer V D from Ranman38 and the Panzer VI E from DeEspona. They were rendered as is with orig textures & with directional lights from Terradome frm RDNA. The dork tank jacket is available here http://www.katch.ne.jp/~naoki-s/. thanks for looking ;)

I'd buy that book.Great render, like the inclusion of the figure for scale.

Nice work! Didn't realize they were that small in size. Including the dork was enlightening.

Thank you Gentlemen! I wanted to do a render using more than 1 type of panzer & couldn't phathom the actual size relation. So I did this quick render to test the scales of the different obj models as an excersise in scaling, but the render turned out quite well, so I used it to do the color mockup. And like you Jeremy I was stunned by the diminutive size of some of the early German panzers.
