Description

Once again, a little early for some, but I may not have time to get this in on Monday. Still working with environments and lighting a subject. This time I pushed my subject to the rear of my image. (I almost let her head get eaten by the trees in the background). Unfortunately, even though the light turned out nice in my opinion, the brighter light in the right foreground pulls my eye to that spot, leaving my subject hidden behind. In this piece it kind of works, though. It leaves me with the feeling that she has just stepped out of the trees to the left surprising the viewer. Yes, I know, lame. I think I will write up a brief for my next piece and see if I can come close to it. (instead of working it backwards.) Thanks for lookin' rap...

Beautiful scenery and the lighting is fantastic! Sometimes it's better not to think or analyse so much, just let it happen naturally! Lol.

You are getting old if you let your eye get pulled from a pretty girl snf as the said in poltergist "Do not go into the light" Always a good blonde Monday render.

I really like it, her stance is great, very stealthy and the long foreground works well. I especially noticed your choice of grass, like little spears.

I think the terrain looks terrific, but the light affects her in a strange way. Makes her skin look unnatural. Very good image though.

Excellent work on this one. I like what you did with it, and I agree on your assessment of the lighting used here. That said, I think the image might work better if there was something in the well lit section she was coming towards. Perhaps a small treasure, or the glimpse of someone's hand or boot.
