Description
This little church, with the mixture of wood and stone , was certainly worth stopping the car to take some shots. It is in East Bohemia

I found some info on this church. It's dedicated to St Bartholomew and founded in 1397 by the Czech Queen Sophia. The covered bridge and the belfry date fromearly 18th c. unfortunately we could't go inside and had no info but it was a gem!

Now there's a place I haven't seen...but then you can live for a time in a country and never even see a fraction of it. I'll have to get more acquainted with this place, especially since I plan to make multiple returns to Bohemia--a few people there would seriously kick my butt if I didn't "return home" as they so eloquently (or was that drunkenly?) put it! This is a gorgeous shot and I love the scale of the architecture as you captured it. WOW!
