First thank you all for the love you surrounded me with the week of my birthday, for the beautiful gifts, and kind birthday greetings, for the support of my poem and the faves :0)
Like many of you lovely friends Dave made me a gift, but sent it private as it had a connection to my mother. I was thrilled and knew you would all want to share this thoughtful gift he made me. He has over the last few difficult years shown me so much love, kindness and support and has become a brother to me, and I am honoured to be his adopted cyber sister.
Dave remembered that my mother would sew my costumes when I was a dancer, and also together we would make my dresses for the Saturday night dance when in my teens. That in mind he created this beautiful render, and of course I was thrilled. Noticing a few spaces I asked if I could add some of my pets and he agreed.
So the 2 real pets of today are Mistapus looking back, and Carina my white dog. The other animals were cleverly painted by Ilona, but I just tweaked them a little to make them look like the pets I loved long ago in my youth.
I added the frame and tweaked the lighting a bit, and hey voila! my first collab with my dear bro Dave!!!
I hope you enjoy this picture lovingly created by myself and Dave, and thank you for all the support and love you showed both of us!!

Jane, I have to digress before I comment on this wonderful collaboration to tell you how I got here. A few pictures ago, Dave commented on one of my pictures and I had the joy of seeing his gallery for the first time. Since then I will pick out one of his images and go also to the gallery of the person he did the image for. Tonight was the fourth time of doing this and I saw your name. I thought, "I'll bet I have missed something Jane's done lately." (It's been a hectic few weeks) "This is the perfect choice." So I go from Dave's gallery to yours and what is the next image past the last one I commented on? A collaboration between you and Dave. I think that is wonderful! This is an lovely image! I love the poses, dress and expressions! The lighting and shadows are beautiful. You did an excellent job, as usual, integrating the loved ones into the scene. Stunning result to you both!
