Description

I don't know if you have been following the discussion on the Fractal Forums about 3D Mandelbrots. A number of formulas have bounced around, but the one I like best was originated by twinbee, which essentially uses a spherical coordinate analog to the polar coordinates used for complex numbers. My 3DFractalRaytrace formula in UltraFractal 5 was designed to take plugin's of a variety of multidimentsional fractals, not just quaternions. I took the twinbee formula, modified it a bit and converted it to a plugin. The experimental image Mandel Flowers was created using my new plugin.

Well this is really a cool fractal, bubble gum colors. Very good work! I don't work with fractals but I enjoy the work of others. Neat piece!
