Description

The dew lies frozen Cozy upon the earth Sleeping soundly As the sun slowly rises The meadow wakens With the sound of few birds Left here for winter Hungrily searching for food The winter sun glares Harshly staring you down Reflecting on water To blind you in all ways Trees are bare Stretching naked limbs Preparing to sleep For Winter is coming

Most of the poems that I post are mine. There is the exception of Fields of Gold and the one in japanese by Gackt, and if I have any others that aren't mine I believe that I have given the person who wrote it credit. Sadly, I don't know who originally wrote fields of gold. Thank you all for your comments. They always bring a smile to my face.
