Description

This is a "sneak preview" of the cover illustration I did for the May 2010 Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. The crystal dragon and figures in the background were rendered and partially designed in Vue and then reworked and the lady painted in using layers within Photo Paint 8. Please do not post or share this photo so it can remain unique to Asimov's. Needless to say, the illustration is Copyright © 2009 by Duncan Long. All rights reserved.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Just finished up another cover for Asimov's -- appearing on their Christmas issue (think dancing robots :o) Will try to post it when the magazine gives me the go-ahead to make it public.
