Durante una delle mie passeggiate lungo i fossi a Bozzano notai questo airone bianco , scattando qualche foto , tra cui questa. During one of my walks along the ditches in Bozzano noticed this white heron, snapping a few photos, including this one. L'airone bianco maggiore presenta un corpo molto allungato ed affusolato, un collo sottile ed angoloso e lunghe zampe. Misura 85-102 cm e l'apertura alare è di 140-170 cm. Il suo abito è completamente bianco. Il becco può essere tutto giallo o apparentemente tutto nero. Le zampe sono nerastre, acquisendo delle sfumature giallo-arancioni nel periodo riproduttivo. Gli occhi sono gialli e sono delimitati da un anello verde. The great white heron has a very elongated and slender body, a thin neck and angular and long legs. Measure 85-102 cm and the wingspan is 140-170 cm. Her dress completely white. Beak may be all yellow or all black apparently. Paws are blackish, capturing the nuances of yellow-orange in the breeding season. The eyes are yellow and are indicated by a green ring. Buona giornata Thanks for looking and for previous comments
