May I offer a couple of ideas? The helmet is a tourney helmet, not a combat helmet. If you want a tourney helmet on him, his mount should be caparisoned, if not armored. Also, the horse should be bigger and heavier, if it is his war mount. As it, it could be his riding mount (palfrey). I have fought in plate armor and ridden in tourneys. My wife has competed in unarmored tourneys, and is an accomplished equestrienne. If you want any more points or wish to discuss the subject any more, contact me. All that said, I think this is a great start!
